Over the past year, we have made the commitment to WordPress for the majority of our sites. With it’s robust feature set and ease of use, WordPress has established itself as the leading content management system. When we looked at developing a new site for Naperville Magazine, it was the perfect fit for their needs.
As a leading publisher, content is at the heart of the Naperville Magazine’s website. Every month they publish great articles as part of their magazine. Each and every article is then put on their website. With so many articles, making access to their content easy and flexible was our number one priority.
Strategically, we determined that users want their information one of two primary ways. First, they wanted it chronologically, allowing users to view content by issue. On the other hand, users also wanted it by subject matter, allowing access by area of interest. To address their needs, we developed a custom solution that provided very visual layouts that could be organized by issue or area of interest. WordPress was the perfect tool for implementing this solution.
Beyond WordPress, the site has many other highlights including a very visual, beautiful design, responsive web design for viewing on mobile devices, social network linking and sharing features and an easy, snappy and straightforward user interface. After a decade in Lemont, we have officially moved to Downtown Naperville. While we will always have a warm spot in our heart for Lemont and the many friends we have there, we are thrilled to have our business within one of America’s most admired suburban cities. For a business like ours, Downtown Naperville’s mixture of shops, restaurants, businesses and events is unmatched. We look forward to working with our clients, vendors and friends at our new location.

We just launched a great new website for Apex, an outsource sales and marketing company with expertise in the janitorial, safety and foodservice industries. This new site capitalizes on their new brand identity which we created as part of a new marketing initiative.
While the site is designed to communicate key company information to site visitors, more importantly, the site was designed as a tool to connect with leading customers. To accomplish this, we built a custom content management system which let administrators easily add videos or documents and assign them to particular customers. The customer can then access their specific information simply by logging in. Additionally, we built other content management features including a news blog, a products category section, a customer database and site user administrative tools.
Beyond the content, the site was built to be responsive. As a responsive site, it adjusts to one’s screen automatically. This makes it accessible and functional on leading mobile devices such as tablets, e-readers and smartphones. The responsiveness of this site really shines on the home page where we put some extra love into the imagery. With our responsive solution, home page images scale beautifully to fill any screen width.
