Echo expands CMS options to include WordPress

At echo, we built Skybox, our own content management system to make managing website content easy and intuitive. It has been a tremendous success. Skybox gives us the power to create highly customized solutions, yet keeps it simple for the site administrator. However, Skybox may not always be the right solution. For less complex sites, we are now offering site development with WordPress as the content management system.

Where Skybox is a proprietary solution, WordPress is an open source solution built by a community of programmers and volunteers. With this community, there is a plethora of plug-in’s that can be utilized for common content management features such as blogging, events, commenting, document management and much more. While our sites will always be customized for each client’s needs, we can use WordPress to integrate reliable and proven technology for our clients’ benefit. This results in sites that are easier to build, less costly and highly reliable.

We've been playing with the Nexus 7. So far we are really impressed. Another reason to have a responsive web design site.
